MARIZE Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 27, 2026
MARIZE is a skincare brand in development, operated by Nina Thyselius, located at 13 Rue La Boetie, 75008 Paris, France (“MARIZE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose personal information when you visit our website, join a product waitlist, subscribe to launch updates, or contact us.
Our current waitlist pages present product concepts and collect expressions of interest. We do not accept orders or payments through these pages.
Our website is hosted by Shopify. Where applicable data protection law uses this term, the operator identified above is the controller responsible for the personal information we process for our own purposes.
You can contact us about privacy at hello@ninathyse.com.
1. Personal Information We Collect
Depending on how you interact with our website, we collect the following information:
-
Waitlist and subscription information: Your email address, the product waitlist you join, and records of your subscription preferences and consent.
-
Communications: Information you provide when you contact us, such as your name, email address, and message.
-
Device and browsing information: Your IP address, browser and device details, and information about your visits and interactions with our website.
-
Campaign and referral information: Where available, information identifying the advertisement, campaign, website, or link through which you reached us.
We collect information directly from you, automatically through our website, and through service providers such as Shopify. Automatic collection can involve cookies and similar technologies.
Joining a waitlist is voluntary. We need your email address to send you the updates you request.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information to:
-
Manage product waitlists and send requested MARIZE launch news and product updates.
-
Record communication preferences and process unsubscribe requests.
-
Understand interest in our product concepts and evaluate our website and advertising.
-
Respond to questions and other communications.
-
Operate, maintain, and protect our website, including preventing spam and misuse.
-
Comply with legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Where advertising or Shopify enhanced features are enabled, information may also be used as described below, subject to applicable privacy choices and legal requirements.
3. Legal Bases for Processing
Where the European Union or United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on:
-
Consent for marketing emails and for non-essential cookies or tracking where consent is required.
-
Legitimate interests in administering our waitlists, responding to enquiries, securing our website, and understanding product interest where permitted without consent and where those interests do not override your rights.
-
Legal obligations where processing is necessary to comply with applicable law.
You can withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
4. Email Updates and Your Choices
If you join a MARIZE waitlist, we use your email address to send the launch news and product updates described when you sign up.
You can unsubscribe using the link in our marketing emails or by contacting hello@ninathyse.com.
Unsubscribing does not prevent us from responding to a message you send us or communicating about a privacy request.
We may retain a limited record of your unsubscribe request so that we can respect your preference.
5. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to support its operation, security, and functionality. Depending on the tools enabled, these technologies may also help us understand website activity and measure advertising performance.
If Meta advertising tools, such as the Meta Pixel or Conversions API, are enabled, information about website visits and actions, such as a completed waitlist signup, may be shared with Meta. Depending on the integration settings, this may include device identifiers, IP addresses, and contact information used for matching. Meta may use this information for advertising measurement, delivery, and personalization under its privacy policy.
You can read Meta’s privacy policy at:
https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/
Where required, non-essential tracking requires your consent. Available cookie and data-sharing controls are presented through our website’s privacy controls. You can also manage cookies in your browser, although blocking some cookies may affect website functionality.
Depending on applicable law, disclosures to advertising providers may constitute a “sale,” “sharing,” or processing for targeted advertising even when no money is exchanged. Where applicable, you may opt out through the website’s privacy controls or contact us for assistance.
Where legally required, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control. Other browser “Do Not Track” signals are not treated as an automatic opt-out.
6. How We Disclose Information
We disclose personal information where necessary to:
-
Shopify and other service providers that support website hosting, email communications, data storage, security, and analytics.
-
Advertising providers, where the relevant tools are enabled, as described above and subject to applicable choices.
-
Professional advisers, authorities, or other parties where necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal requests, or protect rights and security.
-
Parties involved in a business transaction, such as a proposed acquisition or reorganization, subject to appropriate safeguards.
We may also disclose information when you direct us to do so or give valid consent.
7. Shopify’s Role
Shopify hosts our website and processes personal information to provide and support its services.
Depending on our Shopify settings, we may also use enhanced features that involve information about interactions with our website, other merchants, and Shopify. When Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled, Shopify may use that information to provide enhanced services, including services that help protect, improve, and grow our business.
For certain enhanced services, Shopify is responsible for processing personal information and responding to requests relating to that processing. Shopify’s use of information is subject to its applicable privacy policies and available privacy choices.

8. How Long We Keep Information
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
When deciding how long to retain it, we consider whether the waitlist or launch remains active, whether you continue to request communications, the nature of any enquiry, and applicable legal requirements.
If we discontinue a product project, we will assess whether information collected for that project is still needed and delete or anonymize information that is no longer necessary.
We may retain limited information where needed to document consent, respect unsubscribe requests, comply with law, or resolve disputes.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect personal information. No website, storage system, or method of transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Please do not send payment details or other sensitive information when contacting us about the waitlist.
10. International Transfers
Shopify and other providers may process information in countries outside your country of residence. Those countries may have different data protection laws.
Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, we rely on appropriate arrangements, such as recognized adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses, as applicable to the provider and transfer.
You can contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your personal information.

Correct inaccurate information.
-
Request deletion of information.
-
Restrict or object to certain processing.
-
Receive a portable copy of information in applicable circumstances.
-
Withdraw consent.
-
Opt out of applicable sales, sharing, or targeted advertising.
-
Appeal a decision about a privacy request where that right applies.
To make a request, email hello@ninathyse.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding. An authorized agent may act on your behalf where permitted by law, subject to appropriate verification.
We will respond within the time required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
You may also complain to your local data protection authority. In the EEA, this can include the authority in the country where you live or work or where you believe an infringement occurred.
12. Children’s Privacy
Our website and product waitlists are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
